Uses: Survival
This is the use that the Survival was destined for. Small, easily carried in backpack, holster, lanyard or pocket, so rugged that after dropping on rock or hard surfaces your Survival will continue to work for you.
Weather-proof, rubber, sure-grip casing, ultra-long battery life, with the modes you could need most when outdoors: Constant Glow for fast-find in darkness, Power-save for warm tent and cabin navigation light, a High Beam that has been tested visible from 2 miles, and Strobe for those emergencies when you need to be located or attract assistance. Consider adding the Red Cone to your Survival ~ greatly assisting rescue teams to locate you when left upright in strobe mode.
The Survival is not a replacement for the large, heavy, very powerful flashlights. But those large flashlights are heavy, with limited battery life and many are prone to damage if dropped onto rock or hard surfaces. Survivals are the perfect back-up, and for many jobs, the only flashlight you’ll need.
