Bedside Companion
Falls among seniors and children are a very common problem. Unfortunately older people are more susceptible to becoming permanently injured as a result of them. However, this does not have to happen if you take precautions inside and outside your home. Placing a Safe-Light or PALight flashlight near your bed every night in case of a power outage or emergency will help to make sure you have adequate lighting close to you.
As an item on the Home Fire Safety Checklist, the fire department says to keep a working flashlight near your bed, in your child's room, in the kitchen, basement, family room, near the telephone and use it to signal for help in the event of a fire. For earthquakes, it is also suggested to have a flashlight near the bed. A major quake will probably disrupt electrical service and if it happens at night, you will need a flashlight to see. Your flashlight will save your life TEN TIMES more than any weapon on a utility belt.
Keep you and your loved ones safe and protected with a Safe-Light or PALight in every room.
